A shining star...

I’m happy to share that the inaugural recipient of the Brian Lee Memorial Scholarship award, Myah Phillips, has experienced great success in her first year as a Huskie wrestler and university student. Her accomplishments this year include:

• U SPORTS Academic All-Canadian status

• Canada West Women’s Wrestling Rookie of the Year

• Silver medal at the U SPORTS Wrestling Championship

• Nominated for Female Rookie of the Year as part of the Huskie Athletics Major 7 Awards

“Thanks once again; with the scholarship that your family has given me I have been able to accomplish a great amount for my first year. Thank you for giving me this scholarship. It allowed me to have the best season possible.” – Myah

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Brian's fund. With your help, Myah was able to balance the demands of being a student-athlete on top of being a full-time student; she has truly excelled this year.
